I went to highschool with Emily, and though we parted ways for college, we kept in touch through facebook. {gotta love it ;)} Last fall, Emily contacted me and told me she was ENGAGED! We started chatting about wedding stuff, and set up a time to meet. I also captured their engagement pictures last fall, and just fell in love with Tyler and Emily as a couple. Their faith in God is strong, and binds them together in a special and unique way.
Tyler and Emily planned a beautiful ceremony at Emily's home church, with a reception following at a beautiful vineyard nearby.

Shocker detail: Can you believe Emily bought her dress off of Craigslist? Super cheap, and it fit her PERFECTLY. And when I say perfectly, I mean it probably fit her better than it fit the first bride! Emily was absolutely stunning in it.

This late-May day was hot - and when I saw hot, I mean HOT! There was a spring thunderstorm brewing on the horizon and the air was heavy and still. The heat couldn't weigh down these love birds <3

Loved this. Emily and Tyler's parents came and surrounded them in prayer during a part of the ceremony.
Emily and Tyler also chose to do a foot washing ceremony as part of their ceremony. Their pastor talked with the congregation before, explaining why they chose to include it in the ceremony and the meaning behind it. Such a wonderful visible example of their desire to demonstrate Christ's love and service in their relationships.
