18 years ago, one six year old red-headed little girl prayed earnestly for her second younger

 sibling to be a sister. 

She already had one younger brother (Mark)  and while her parents were planning on a second boy, this little redhead had other ideas. Every night, before going to bed, she prayed that God would keep her little SISTER safe. Her parents had been told by the doctors that they were have a BOY, so they just kept telling this little girl not to be disappointed, and that a little brother could be just as fun as a little sister. 

Well... low and behold, a few months later, this family welcomed a little SISTER to the family. 

I love you seester! Thanks for making me the "big SISTER" :)

Matt and Erin contacted me in the summer of 2014 about scheduling engagement pictures, and eventually wedding pictures. Erin and I emailed all summer and fall, and eventually settled on a date. We met on a beautiful fall evening on the Iowa State campus where Matt and Erin were both students. I've always wanted to check out the buildings, but was too nervous to explore without someone who knew their way around! 

Matt and Erin immediately impressed me with their graciousness, kindness, and tenderness towards each other. Their engagement session felt like spending time with old friends!
