The wedding of Lucas + Brittani

Lucas and Brittani first contacted me last fall, and we talked back and forth through the winter, planning their engagement session and eventually wedding. I was honored to be asked to photograph their day!

The wedding took place in a sweet, intimate evening ceremony with their closest friends and family. You could feel the love saturating the room and Lucas and Brittani promised forever to each other.

Brittani's give to Lucas was a card deck with "52 reasons why I love you"
It was PERFECT. Her observations were so creative and personal, and it was such a fun thing for Lucas to read just before he saw his bride! 

Brittani is an only child, and her and her mother share a special bond that is almost visible. Talking with the videographer, he mentioned how fun it was bring with Brittani and her mom as they got ready earlier in the day. He said that watching them get ready together and laugh and just BE EXCITED was one of his favorite parts of the day! 

The rain let up long enough to do the finishing touches on the dress outside, and I was so thankful! 

Beautiful, glowing bride!

Lucas had one of his groomsmen deliver a letter to Brittani just before she saw him. Watching her face while reading it was SO priceless. I have discovered that being on the OTHER side of marriage and being a part of weddings is just fantastic. It gives me so much more of an appreciation and excitement for the bride and groom - and it is so much fun :) 

Obviously, it was a good letter :)
